In 1960 Donald Joslyn Sr., after working several years in the heating service trade, decided it was time to start a business of his own. This new heating service company would be named Radiant Heat of Worcester. As the only employee of this new company, Don worked long hours each day, doing installations of heating systems and also servicing existing systems, both during the day and providing emergency off hour service. As word quickly spread of the quality of the work and the nature of professionalism that was provided, a good customer base was formed, not by expensive advertising, but simply by word of mouth.

By the end of 1962, Don joined forces with a friend and started taking courses in the air conditioning and refrigeration field, which were later added to the business' capabilities. In early 1963, due mainly to the company's growth and changing times, the company moved to its first permanent business location at 163 Grafton St. in Worcester. Shortly thereafter, the company's name was changed to reflect it's newly combined services, to Ace Temperature Control. In 1969 again, due to the rapid growth in a customer base and the need for more space, the company was moved to its present location at 30 Ward St. in Worcester and was officially incorporated.

During the next several years, the company was joined by Don's two sons, Donald Joslyn Jr. and Timothy Joslyn and his son-in-law Wayne Trigiano. During the years ahead, many customers were added to the company's customer base, which in turn allowed a number of quality employees to be hired. New hires continued to carry on the high quality of workmanship and took pride in their responsibilities.

In 1990, Ace Temperature Control Inc. purchased United Automatic Heating of Worcester and once again added to our customer base. With the company's employee’s true dedication and spirited teamwork and tremendous pride in their craftsmanship, Ace Temperature Control, Inc. will continue to expand and provide the areas most professional, high-quality and cost-effective services to its Central Mass. customers.
